EuroChoir was hosted by the Abbaye aux Dames in Saintes which is an outstanding benedictine abbey. The actual church was built in the 12th century. Housing and rehearsals took place in 17th century buildings. L’Abbaye aux Dames hosts nowadays a centre for cultural meeting and an important music festival.

Saintes is a city full of history, 30' drive to the Atlantic ocean. Because of its noteworthy Gallo-Roman, Medieval and Classical heritage, Saintes is a popular tourist destination, member of the French Towns and Lands of Art and History. It has several museums, a theater, cinemas.

The EuroChoir 2014 prepared a full a cappella concert programme, that was a mixture of French and international repertoire. The two conductors were Geoffroy Jourdain from France and Lone Larsen from Sweden.
