"Ever since my time as a member of the Vienna Boys’ Choir I was fascinated by choral music and joined many national and international choral projects, both as a singer and as a manager. The experiences I had at the Eurochoir and at the Europa Cantat Festival in Pécs were overwhelming and I wanted to be able to contribute to the work of the European Choral Association - Europa Cantat. I’m looking forward to three exciting years with my colleagues from the Youth Committee, together helping to develop the choral world."

Kristiina Veerde  | Estonia

supported by the Estonian Choral Association

"I have been involved with music since I was 7 - singing in different choirs, playing as many instruments as I could and volunteering at various culture events in Estonia and abroad. After my bachelor studies in music education I decided to study cultural management and ever since I have been actively involved with organising different music festivals and managing choirs. The Youth Committee is a step further to advance my skills, broaden my horizon and to help together with the team to promote the choral movement in Europe among young people."
